details

Project Overview: This innovative architectural project is a groundbreaking all-season ski resort that seamlessly integrates a hotel and multifunctional spaces into the natural landscape. The design not only serves as a luxurious retreat but also as a functional extension of the existing ski slope, elevating it to Olympic standards. The resort’s most striking feature is its adaptive roof structure, which allows for year-round skiing and snow activities by ingeniously controlling the snow conditions within the building.

Roof Structure: The roof of the building is designed with a series of diaphragm-like sections that can open and close depending on the season. During winter, these diaphragms open to allow snow to accumulate naturally on the roof, creating an extended ski slope that meets Olympic requirements. In summer, the diaphragms close, forming a protective barrier that insulates the interior, maintaining a cold environment that prevents the snow from melting. This unique system enables continuous skiing opportunities throughout the year, making the resort truly all-season.

Sustainable and Adaptive Design: The building’s adaptive roof not only ensures year-round usability but also reflects a commitment to sustainability. By leveraging natural snow in winter and preserving it during warmer months, the design reduces the need for artificial snowmaking, minimizing environmental impact. The roof’s ability to regulate temperature also enhances the building’s energy efficiency, contributing to its overall sustainability.

Multifunctional Spaces: The resort offers a range of facilities beyond the ski slope, including luxurious hotel accommodations, dining areas, wellness centers, and recreational spaces. These areas are thoughtfully integrated into the building’s design, ensuring that guests can enjoy a diverse range of activities regardless of the season. The building’s architecture merges modern aesthetics with functional performance, creating a harmonious blend of luxury and sport.

Conclusion: This all-season ski resort represents a fusion of innovative architecture, sustainable design, and advanced engineering. Its adaptive roof, multifunctional spaces, and integration with the natural landscape make it a unique destination that offers year-round skiing experiences while prioritizing environmental responsibility. The project sets a new standard for ski resort design, offering a compelling vision for the future of winter sports and luxury tourism.
